Ingredients
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 10 mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
- 10 fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp balsamic glaze
Instructions
- Rinse the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves under cold water, then gently pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Drain the mozzarella balls and lightly pat them dry so they hold better on the skewers.
- Take a small skewer or toothpick and thread on one cherry tomato first.
- Fold a basil leaf in half (if large) and slide it on next.
- Add one mozzarella ball after the basil.
- Repeat the process until all ingredients are used.
- Arrange the skewers neatly on a serving plate in a single layer.
- Drizzle evenly with olive oil.
- Just before serving, finish with a light zigzag drizzle of balsamic glaze for extra flavor and presentation.

Tips & Variations
- Add a slice of prosciutto for a savory twist (swap one ingredient to stay at five).
- Use shorter toothpicks for bite-sized party snacks, or long skewers for a more elegant look.
- Chill for 20–30 minutes before serving for a refreshing summer treat.
